Laguiole Jean Dubost 24pce Horn Cutlery Set 1.5gauge
Laguiole cutlery was first produced in 1829, in the small town of Laguiole in the Aveyron region of France. It is handmade by craftsmen whose skills have been passed from generation to generation. The bumble bee found on all Laguiole knives is one of the emblems of the region where they are made. Laguiole is not a brand as such, but rather a classic design, tradition and symbol of fine craftsmanship.
Dubost Colas Pradel was founded in 1920 by Mr Pierre Dubost, a cutler's son and maker of the famous Laguiole knives. Production started in a small workshop and grew thanks to the founder's son Mr Jean Dubost, whose name signs the flatware and kitchen knives lines. The cutlery, made from high grade stainless steel, is stamped, ground and then polished with over 25 manual production stages. Quality is an integral part of production to provide consumers with the assurance of long lasting use.
